A welcome from Remo & Laura

Villa Padovani is not a hotel, it’s a historic residence and home to Remo and Laura, who place their magnificent suites and large public spaces at the disposal of their guests, taking care of cleaning, breakfast and check-in.
When you enter their home you’ll be treated as a family friend and feel at ease immediately, thanks to Laura’s openness and calm character and Remo’s confident, pragmatic manner, always ready to tell the villa’s story and offer advice for your stay. You’ll also meet Demi, an inquisitive Pembroke Corgi who’s as cheeky as she is clever.

Free Wi-Fi

Thanks to the free Wi-Fi, you can enjoy high-speed broadband throughout the building, allowing you to stay updated.

Breakfast in the garden

In summer you can enjoy an excellent breakfast in our garden, surrounded by the tranquillity of nature. For a great start to the day, choose from our high-quality options, sweet or savoury. Let us know if you have special dietary requirements: we’ll do all we can to meet your needs.

Pool & Spa

Relax in our Spa centre, where you’ll find a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam. We also have two cubicles where we offer massage and other face and body treatments on request. Two rooms are also at your disposal, one with beds for relaxation and another for yoga practice.

Honesty bar

Since we’re not a hotel but want to make your stay comfortable, we don’t have a conventional bar, but offer snacks and drinks from an honesty bar. It all stems from the trust we have in you: you can take what you like and leave your payment in complete freedom.

Relaxing garden

Inside the walls of the villa there’s a large garden with olive trees, oleanders and colourful flowers. This is your corner of paradise, where you can sunbathe, relax on the sun beds and take a refreshing dip in the pool with jacuzzi.

Car parking

We have a private car park on the premises, which is available free of charge. There are enough spaces to accommodate all our guests, and charging stations for electric vehicles.

Electric bikes

Explore the surroundings of Villa Padovani on a practical electric bike: you can hire one for 40 euros a day and discover the wonders of Lake Garda. A tip? Just 7 kilometres away is gorgeous Lazise, with its astonishing Scaliger castle.

Facilities at Boffenigo Panorama & Experience Hotel

When you stay with us you can also use the facilities at Boffenigo Panorama & Experience Hotel, which is also owned by our family. The Boffenigo is located in Costermano, just 15 minutes by car. You can use the wellness centre free of charge, and enjoy a delicious aperitif on the terrace. But the crowning glory is the restaurant, which is definitely worth a visit. The food is local and traditional and stands out for its high quality dishes, prepared using authentic and carefully selected ingredients.

The story goes...

There’s a legend that appears to be rooted in truth and dates back to the year 1796. Apparently Napoleon was passing through Piovezzano, the village where the villa already stood – at the time it was known as Palazzo Marinelli. Napoleon set up his headquarters here, and military records from the time report that he tied his horse to a vine in the villa’s courtyard. This is the actual description of the scene, in the language of the time. “In the courtyard of Palazzo Marinelli, where he established his headquarters, I saw a vine clinging to the wall, and to its ancient and solid trunk Bonaparte, Massena and Moreau tied the reins of their horses on their return from repeated attacks in Rivoli upon the enemies of ourselves and of freedom, in 1796”.
